Six Summer Finds I'm Taking into Fall
By Katie Shayda · September 17, 2026

It was a busy summer — plenty of heat, travel, packing and unpacking. Along the way, I picked up a few products that surprised me enough to become part of my routine.
September is the perfect time to sort these things out. Some products were perfect for the moment; others I’m still reaching for every day. From a cooling eucalyptus mist to a steam-activated enzyme treatment, these are the six I’m carrying straight into fall.

Anyone who lives somewhere hot will understand this one immediately.
Nécessaire’s Eucalyptus Water is an ultra-fine cooling mist that feels incredible after being outside, after a workout, or whenever the heat has gotten the best of you. I spray it over my arms, chest, neck — anywhere that needs a quick refresh.
The eucalyptus smells clean and delicate, not overpowering, and the cooling sensation is why I keep reaching for it. It literally wakes up your skin right along with your senses.

People are more likely to wear sunscreen every day when they can forget they have it on.
UVAir SPF 50 is incredibly fluid and light, with a watery serum texture that sinks in quickly and works beautifully under makeup. No heavy film, no tackiness, no pilling.
It also contains niacinamide and hyaluronic acid, so it feels much closer to skincare than a traditional facial sunscreen. For more sensitive skin, there’s also a mineral version.

This was one of those random purchases that quickly became a daily thing.
Coffee and a few swipes of Tula's ’Spresso under my eyes, over my lids, and I immediately feel more awake.
The balm feels instantly cool, comes in five shades, and leaves a subtle brightness around the outer eye and upper cheekbone. I love what that little bit of light does, especially first thing in the morning.
I also use it in the afternoon as a pick-me-up during the midday slump.

I’m not a self-tanner girl. I’m not much of a sun girl either. Most of the time, I’m completely fine with pale skin.
Every now and then, though, a little color is nice — before a trip, an event, or what have you.
Sunny Honey self-tanner surprised me because the grey-green base keeps the color from turning orange. The bronze looks believable, which is really all I want from a self-tanner.
The Coconut Milk Body SPF 50 was another delight. It feels like a thin, milky body lotion, spreads easily, smells wonderful, and gives you SPF 50 without the thick sunscreen feel.
Moisturizing protection and a believable bronze whenever needed, year-round.

I discovered this product at a spa over the summer, and it’s now my go-to for exfoliating, brightening, and smoothing. It's an enzyme mask that actually works well.
GLOW Regenzyme uses fermented pumpkin and pomegranate enzymes to help loosen surface buildup, and a little steam activates the treatment. I’ll use it before a shower or with a warm towel and leave it on for ten to fifteen minutes.
Afterward, my skin feels incredibly smooth and fresh. Squalane and glycerin help keep it hydrated, which I appreciate as the weather becomes drier.
I use it about twice a week. For skin that doesn’t love aggressive exfoliation, this has been such a find.
